Prince William gives rare health update about Princess Kate amid her cancer diagnosis

Prince William is providing a royal update about wife Princess Kate's cancer diagnosis.
The Prince of Wales surprised royal onlookers on Tuesday following a visit to James' Place Newscastle, a male suicide prevention center, and talked to one woman about Princess Kate's health status, according to a video shared on Instagram by the account @WalesVideos and Daily Mail Royals on YouTube.
"Do you mind if I ask how you and your children are?" one woman seemingly asked Prince William, referring to his and Princess Kate's three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6.
"We're all doing well, thank you," the royal replied, to which the woman then asked: "And obviously Catherine?"
"We're all doing well," Prince William repeated.
In a photo from Tuesday, Prince Wiliam is seen speaking to a pair of women during the stop in Newcastle. The women are seemingly the same duo who asked him about his family's well-being in the video obtained by @WalesVideos and The Daily Mail.
In late March, Princess Kate announced she was battling cancer after weeks of speculation and conspiracy theories surrounding her health.
"I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you personally for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I've been recovering from surgery," said Kate in a video released by Kensington Palace. "It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family. But I've had a fantastic medical team who've taken great care of me, for which I'm so grateful.
"In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London. And at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous," she continued. "The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present."
In a statement released by Kensington Palace at the time of the announcement, Prince William and Princess Kate expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of public support amid her cancer diagnosis.
"The prince and princess are both enormously touched by the kind messages from people here in the U.K., across the Commonwealth and around the world in response to Her Royal Highness’ message," a palace spokesperson said in an emailed statement to USA TODAY in March.
Prince Harry wears medal to present Soldier of the Year virtually
While Prince William speaks to onlookers during surprise royal street talks, his brother Prince Harry is giving back, too.
Prince Harry, a veteran, made a virtual appearance last Wednesday that appeared to be filmed at his home in Montecito, California, to present a Military Times Soldier of the Year Award to U.S. servicemember and Paralympian Elizabeth Marks.
"I first met Sergeant First Class Elizabeth Marks at the Invictus Games in Orlando 2016, where I presented her with not one, but four gold medals that she'd won in swimming. To me, she epitomizes the courage, resilience and determination represented across our service community. And this is not just because of her swimming abilities,” Prince Harry said during his speech.
